District 2-4A Division I champion Brownwood (9-1, 4-0) has a bye this week and will open postseason action against San Elizario Nov. 9, 10 or 11.

The Brownwood Lions maintained their hod on the No. 7 spot in the Week 11 Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Class 4A Division I Top 10.

The Lions (9-1, 4-0), who secured a second straight District 2-4A Division I championship this past Friday with a 28-14 victory over Andrews at Gordon Wood Stadium, has its district bye.

Brownwood will next be in action either Nov. 9, 10 or 11 against District 1-4A Division I fourth seed San Elizario in the bi-district round of the playoffs.

The rest of the DCTF 4A Division Top 10 this week features No. 1 Boerne (8-1), No. 2 Celina (9-0), No. 3 Anna (8-1), No. 4 Kilgore (8-1), No. 5 Iowa Colony (9-0), No. 6 Stephenville (7-2), No. 8 Tyler Chapel Hill (8-1), No. 9 China Spring (7-3) and No. 10 Waco La Vega (6-3).
