Brown County Sheriff’s Report: Oct. 25

  • On Thursday, October 19, 2023, at approximately 1:26 p.m, Deputy Thomas Beloat with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the Law Enforcement Center at 1050 West Commerce in regard to a walk-in referencing to harassment. Pertinent information was gathered, and a report was completed.
  • On Friday, October 20, 2023, Deputy Michel Wilson was dispatched to a non-responsive person at FM 1467 in Blanket. Information was gathered and a report was made.
  • On Friday, October 20, 2023, Deputy Michel Wilson made a traffic stop in the 12000 Block of CR 306. The stop resulted in the arrest of Ashton Locke for Driving While License Invalid w/o Insurance, Operation of Motor Vehicle w/no Financial Responsibility, and Expired Registration.
  • On Friday, October 20, 2023, at approximately 3:39 p.m, Deputy Thomas Beloat with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the Law Enforcement Center at 1050 West Commerce for a walk-in regarding a theft that occurred at FM 1849. Pertinent information was gathered, and a report was completed.
  • On Friday, October 20, 2023, at 4:53 p.m. Deputy Ricky Herring was dispatched to Oak Hill Circle in reference to a Burglary of a Habitation. Upon arrival contact was made with the victim, and information was gathered, and a report was made.
  • On Saturday, October 21, 2023, Deputy Michel Wilson was dispatched to 8000 block of US 377S for a Hispanic male trying to wave people down in the lane of traffic. An arrest was made for Public Intoxication.
  • On Saturday, October 21, 2023, at approximately 8:59 p.m., Deputy Ira Smith and Ricky Herring were dispatched to County Road 291 for a disturbance at that location. Deputies arrived and spoke with the resident at County Road 291. The complainant said that she and her husband were having a verbal argument. The parties agreed to separate for the night and deputies left at 21:42. At 21:48 Deputy Smith and Herring were dispatched back to County Road 291. Caller advised that he saw a male run across the road and kick in the front door and then could hear screaming. Deputies Smith and Herring returned to County Road 291. Deputy Smith arrived and spoke with the complainant, and she said her husband had come to the house and kicked in the door with a shotgun in his hand. The husband was arrested and charged with Terroristic Threat.
  • On Saturday, October 21, 2023, Deputy Michel Wilson was dispatched to Lake Shore Dr. in May for a report of a Burglary. Information was gathered and a report has been taken.
  • On Sunday, October 22, 2023, Deputy John Geis was dispatched to Rocky Hill Rd., Brownwood in regard to a dog killing three cats. Deputy Geis spoke to a complainant who said that his neighbor had a dog that got onto his property and killed three cats. Information was gathered and a Dog Prohibited from Running At Large paper was filed, and a report was made.
  • On Sunday, October 22, 2023, at approximately 3:17 p.m., Deputy Thomas Beloat with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the Law Enforcement Center located at 1050 West Commerce, regarding found property. Information was gathered, and a report was completed.
