Pamela Ann Gardner, 66, of Bangs, Texas passed away Friday, October 20, 2023. The family will make an announcement of a memorial service at a later time.

Pam was born January 12, 1957 in Brownwood, Texas to W. W. and Annie Lavonia (McDonald) Chick. She graduated from Bangs High School. Pam was a very strong and independent woman that raised her children and worked very hard everyday of her life to take care of others. Pam worked in home health care and loved her job. She had a passion for taking care of and visiting with her patients. She came from a big family and loved looking after and taking care of all of them. Her pet, Scooter, was her best friend and she treated him like he was one of her kids. Pam was very active in her grandchildren’s lives, she loved to attend games and school events and be active however she could support them. Pam brought a smile into the room wherever she went, she was spontaneous, outgoing and always unpredictable.

Pam is survived by her children, Dusty Chick of Early, Carline Turk of DFW, Zack Hill of Vesper, Wi., and Kensley Gardner of Blanket; 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; Scooter; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Bill, Jimmy, Mac and Teddy Chick; and a sister, Dorothy.
