The Brownwood Lions continue their climb up the Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Class 4A Division I Top 10, matching their highest ranking of the season at No. 7 ahead of Week 10 action.

The Lions (8-1, 3-0), who are coming off a 35-14 victory at Lubbock Estacado, can secure a second consecutive District 2-4A Division I championship at 7 p.m. Friday at Gordon Wood Stadium in the final regular season game of 2023 against the Andrews Mustangs.

Along with Brownwood, the rest of the Week 10 4A Division I rankings feature No. 1 Boerne (7-1), No. 2 Celina (8-0), No. 3 Anna (7-1), No. 4 Kilgore (8-1), No. 5 Iowa Colony (8-0), No. 6 Stephenville (6-2), No. 8 Tyler Chapel Hill (7-1), No. 9 China Spring (6-3) and No. 10 Bay City (6-2).

Again, the Lions are the lone team from Region I-4A represented in the DCTF 4A Division I Top 10.
