BANGS – The Bangs Lady Dragons claimed one set against District 6-2A foe Hawley, but were unable to capture the match in a 25-11, 25-11, 20-25, 25-12 decision Tuesday night.

Bangs, which was swept by Hawley during the first district meeting, received seven kills apiece from Raylee Hutchins, Neeley Bradley and Jadyn Miller. Claire Auldridge and Kasey Solis contributed one kill apiece.

Bradley distributed seven assists, Joey Newton logged six and Ava Boren chipped in four.

Bradley also served three aces, Hutchins tacked on two and Miller and Julianna Ethridge each finished with one.

Defensively, Miller’s 18 digs led the way followed by 17 from Ethridge, seven from Cloey Petty, six from Boren, five each from Hutchins and Bradley, and four from Solis.

Solis and Bradley each recorded a block for Bangs.

The playoff-bound Lady Dragons (14-13, 3-4) will conclude their regular season at noon Saturday at Ranger.
