STEPHENVILLE – The Brownwood Lady Lions suffered their second straight-set District 6-4A defeat at the hands of the No. 10 Stephenville Honeybees Tuesday night.
Miranda Northcutt, Aniah Hines and Aubrie Felux notched two kills each for Brownwood followed by Hannah Dean and Trinity Roberts with one apiece.
Icess Hall and Emma Ringer both finished with three assists and Deen served a pair of aces.
Defensively, Hall registered a team-best six digs followed by three apiece from Chloe Walls and Molly Oliver, two from Deen, and one each from Hines, Roberts and Maddi Scott.
Hines tallied the only block at the net for Brownwood.
The Lady Lions (7-26, 0-7) will wrap up the District 6-4A campaign at 5 p.m. Friday at Graham.
