Rudy Tobias, age 64, of Brownwood, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Friday, October 13, 2023. A visitation for Rudy will begin at 6PM followed by a Rosary beginning at 7PM on Monday, October 16, at Heartland Funeral Home in Early. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10AM on Tuesday, October 17, at Saint Mary Queen of Peace Church in Brownwood.

Rudy was born on October 10, 1959 to Nolberto and Olivia Tobias in Brownwood. He married the love of his life, Armandina, on June 23, 1984 at Saint Mary Queen of Peace Church in Brownwood. Rudy worked at Kohler and 3M in Brownwood for many years. He enjoyed listening to music, fixing his little blue truck, and working around the family homestead.

Rudy is survived by his wife, Armandina Tobias; daughter, Yessenia Vasquez and husband John; son, Kiley Tobias; grandson, Johnathan Wesley (JW) Vasquez; brothers, Toby Tobias, Ramiro Tobias and wife Sylvia, Rey Tobias, and Robert Tobias; and sisters, Olivia Cantwell and husband Johnny, and Rosa Sikes.
