PEASTER – Entering the day tied with Breckenridge for fourth place in the District 8-3A volleyball standings, the Early Lady Horns were dealt a 25-9, 25-18, 25-8 loss Saturday by league front-runner and ninth-ranked Peaster.

Standouts for the Lady Horns (12-13, 5-6) against Peaster (30-7, 11-0) included Matty Boswell with 1 ace, 2 kills and 2 digs; Hadalee Saunders with 5 kills and 3 digs; Grey Pruitt with 1 kill, 1 dig and 13 assists; Jensyn Rasor with 5 kills; Gabby Benson with1 dig and 1 assist; Jenna Hataway with 2 digs; Dakota Barksdale with 3 kills, 1 block and 1 assist; and Karley Smith with 1 dig 1 assist and 1 block.

Early will next host Eastland at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
