Billie Jo Parrish passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 90.

She was born in Goatneck, Texas to Willie Mae Osborne and Abraham Lincoln Musick on March 24, 1933.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joe Parrish, daughter Kayle Wilkerson, siblings Lorraine Smith, Belva Ferguson, Martha Leonard, Mildred Haddock, John Musick, Lila Mae George, Mamie Bell Robbins, Lillian Upchurch, and Bobby Musick, and granddaughter, Linda Price.

She leaves behind one sister, Millie Bolyard, daughter Karen McCarty, son Kenneth Wilkerson, several nieces and nephews, grandchildren Kenny Nault, Angie Woods, Luke Nault, Lori Wilkerson, Cheyenne Anderson, Johnny Wilkerson and many great grandchildren.

Billie loved them all with every ounce of her heart. She served the Lord in all that she did and could always let you know what the Bible said about anything you asked.  Billie will be missed by many, as she welcomed so many into her life and home.  She is in Heaven with the family she missed so much.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation at 12:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service celebrating her life at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2023, at Victory Baptist Church, 4810 Jarmen Street, in Abilene with Rev. David Sims officiating. Interment will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street in Coleman.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Nault, Luke Nault, Angie Woods, Anderew Anderson, Johnny Wilkerson, and David McCarty.

The family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions in memory of Billie be made to the Victory Baptist Church, 4810 Jarmen Street, Abilene, Texas 79601.

We invite you to share fond memories and words of comfort and condolence with the Parrish family by signing the virtual guestbook on Billie’s tribute page at www.stevensfuneralhome.com. Stevens Funeral Home is honored to serve the Parrish family.
