DUBLIN – The Brownwood Lions placed third as a team at the Dublin Dash cross country meet Wednesday, garnering 90 points.
The Lions trailed only Eastland (20 points) and Breckenridge (56) in the team standings, as Bennett Windham paced Brownwood with a third-place individual finish in a time of 17:41.07.
Also competing for the Lions Wednesday were Aidan Pena (11th, 18:52.44), Noah Lambert (22nd, 19:44.21), Stephen Rodriguez (30th, 20:29.32), and Ty Tindol (47th, 22:22.09).
The Lady Lions did not compete Wednesday as both teams are slated for action again on Wednesday, Oct. 4 at the Stephenville Thrill of the Hill meet.
