EASTLAND – The Early Lady Horns outlasted Eastland Saturday for a five-set road victory in District 8-3A volleyball action, 21-25, 25-22, 16-25, 26-14, 17-15.

Pacing the Early offensive effort was Hadalee Saunders with 13 kills followed by Dakota Barksdale with eight, Jensyn Rasor and Matty Boswell with six apiece, and Gabby Leal and Grey Pruett with five kills each.

Pruett dished out 38 assists and served one ace, while Rasor and Jenna Hataway also tallied an ace.

On the defensive end, Pruett led the way with 32 digs while Barksdale registered three blocks followed by Rasor with two and Saunders and Leal with one block apiece.

The Lady Horns (10-9, 3-2) are back in action at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday against No. 16 Peaster.
