Linda Harris

Linda Harris, age 70 of Cameron, Texas formerly of Brownwood, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, in Temple.

Funeral services for Linda will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, September 25, 2023, at New Beginnings Church in Brownwood, with Pastor Kelly Crenshaw officiating. Interment will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 5:00 pm, Sunday, September 24, 2023, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Linda was born on February 1, 1953, to Clarence R. Watson and Artie May (James) Watson, in Brownwood. She graduated from Brownwood High School and was a longtime member of New Beginnings Church. Linda worked in the healthcare industry most of her life.

Those left to cherish Linda’s memory include her son, Joshua Erler and wife Amberlei of Brownwood; grandchildren, Jaxon, Johnny, Allen, Allie, Secily, Japeth, and Joseph; brother, Junior Watson and wife Kathleen of Cameron; sisters, Mary White of Brownwood, Shirley Schneider of Cameron, Pat Laneave and husband Linnie of Missouri, and Reba Smith and husband Robert of Brownwood. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Harris; and siblings, Louise Watson, Brenda Clark, and Betty Rose Tillery.

Linda’s faith in God and her fellow man was very strong. She sought to see the good in everyone. Linda’s family was her life, and she will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.
