BANGS – Playing their final match before District 6-2A volleyball action commences, the Bangs Lady Dragons were handed a 25-23, 25-15, 25-12 defeat by Bronte Tuesday night.

Standouts for Bangs included Joey Newton with 6 assists and 15 digs; Neeley Bradley with 2 aces, 3 kills, 13 assists, and 9 digs; Raylee Hutchins with 4 kills and 1 dig; Kasey Solis with 3 kills, 2 digs and 3 block assists; Julianna Ethridge with 1 ace and 17 digs; Emily Baker with 1 ace, 1 kill, and 5 digs; Cloey Petty with 3 aces and 10 digs; Claire Auldridge with 1 kill, 1 dig and block assists; and Jadyn Miller with 9 kills, 19 digs and 1 block assist.

The Lady Dragons (11-9) visit Albany at 11 a.m. Saturday in the 6-2A opener for both teams.
