The Brownwood Lady Lions returned to the win column Friday afternoon at Warren Gym, notching a three-set non-district victory over the Richland Springs Lady Coyotes.

Leading the charge offensively for Brownwood was Aubrie Felux with 10 kills followed by Aniah Hines with nine, Hannah Deen and Trinity Roberts with four each, Miranda Northcutt with three, and Jaslin Jones and Chloe Walls with one apiece.

Brownwood also tallied 19 aces including 10 from Deen, three each from Hines and Molly Oliver, two from Emma Ringer and one from Felux.

Ringer distributed 15 assists, Icess Hall dished out 10 and Roberts was credited with one.

Defensively, Oliver logged three digs, Hall tallied two and Ringer, Deen, Jones and Jeniffer Romero notched one apiece.

Northcutt and Roberts each collected a block as well.

The Lady Lions (7-18) will visit Burnet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in their pre-district finale, then venture to Glen Rose at 5 p.m. Friday for the District 6-4A volleyball opener.
