The number of Brown County real estate sales saw a big increase compared to August 2022, according to figures released by the Heartland Association of Realtors.  The number of active listings and days-on-market were also higher than one year ago, while median pricing was slightly lower.  Details below.

Median Price:  $190,500 (down 4.5%)

Median Price per square foot: $121.38 (down 2.8%)

Active Listings: 163 (up 35.8%)

Months of Inventory: 4.4 (up 1.5 months)

Days on Market: 48 (up 24 days)

Days to Close: 32 (up 2 days)

Total Days: 80 (up 26 days)

Median Home Size: 1,494 square feet

Median Year Built: 1988

Closing Price/Original List Price: 93.3%

less than $100,000: 23.1%

$100,000 – 199,999: 36.5%

$200,000 – 299,999: 21.2%

$300,000 – 399,999: 9.6%

$400,000 – 499,999: 1.9%
