Cloey Petty tallied three aces and digs for Bangs (11-8), which will next take the court at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19 in the pre-district finale against Bronte.

WOODSON – The Bangs Lady Dragons stumbled on the road Tuesday night, dropping a straight-set decision to Woodson, 26-24, 25-21, 25-16.

Among the culprits in the defeat for Bangs was 12 service errors.

Standouts for the Lady Dragons were Joey Newton with 3 digs; Neeley Bradley with 1 ace, 7 kills, 8 assists, and 1 dig; Raylee Hutchins with 2 kills; Kasey Solis with 2 kills; Julianna Ethridge with 12 digs; Emily Baker with 2 aces, 4 kills, and 6 digs; Cloey Petty with 3 aces and 9 digs; Ava Boren with 8 aces, 3 kills, 8 assists, and 7 digs; and Jadyn Miller with 2 aces, 7 kills, and 17 digs.

The Lady Dragons will take the court again at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19 in their pre-district finale against Bronte.
