She was pre-deceased by her husband “Hoot”, her son, Joe Don, five sisters Wanda Townsend of Rule, Mary Anders of Abilene, Cathryn Thane of Midland, Jean Evans of Midland and Jackie Pendleton of Waxahachie, two brothers, E.C. Smith, Jr. of Elgin and Bill Smith of Little Rock.

Donna is survived by daughters Keri McGaughey of Trophy Club, Lisa Ryan and children Colten and Cassidy of Midland, grandson Tyler McGaughey, wife Sarah and children Hazel and Amos of Chicago, sister Audrey Jo Creswell of Denison, brother-in-laws Waymond Sheppard of Bangs and Sam Pendleton of Waxahachie, and numerous nieces and nephews, including very special niece, Ann Nickell of Abilene.
