The Early Police Department posted the following information on its Facebook page Friday morning:

On Thursday, Aug. 17 at approximately 4 p.m. Early Police and Fire and Lifeguard EMS responded to a reported accident at C.C. Woodson and Early Blvd. A motorcycle traveling east on C.C. Woodson struck a van turning west toward Brownwood from FM 2525. The motorcycle driver was flown by Air Evac Helicopter to Harris Hospital in Fort Worth.

The accident is currently under investigation.
