EARLY – The Early Lady Horns dropped a four-set home decision to Veribest Tuesday night, falling by a 25-16, 14-25, 25-20, 25-18 count.

Leading the charge offensively for the Lady Horns was Matty Boswell with 12 kills followed by Jensyn Rasor and Dakota Barksdale with five each, Hadalee Saunders and Grey Pruett with two apiece, and Karley Smith with one.

Pruett distributed 21 assists followed by Boswell and Brooklynn McCullough with one apiece.

Saunders, Pruett and Jenna Hataway each served an ace.

Defensively, Hataway registered 14 digs trailed by Boswell with 13, Gabby Benson with two and Pruett and McCullough with one each.

At the net, Smith logged Early’s lone block.

The Lady Horns (2-3) are back in action at 10 a.m. Saturday at Paint Rock.
