Donna Kay Vestal, age 80, of Blanket, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 11, 2023. Cremation is under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home in Early. Donna’s family will host a private burial at a later date.

Donna was born on August 22, 1942 to Famon and Grace Self in Wilson, Oklahoma. Donna worked as a secretary and retired from Lockheed Martin Aerospace. She moved to Blanket to take care of her mother until her death in 2004, and was a faithful member of the Blanket Baptist Church. Donna loved the Lord, reading her bible, and supporting her children. She also enjoyed crocheting.

Donna is survived by her sons, Scott Vestal and wife Alice, and Curtis Vestal and wife Malynda; 4 grandchildren, Rosa Grace Vestal, Aaron Granville Vestal, Kylie McCullough, and Brooke Roberts; 3 great grandchildren, Saylor McCullough, JP McCullough, and Reign Roberts; and her brother, James Self and wife Linda. Donna is also survived by numerous other relatives, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
