The following fishing reports are provided by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for the week of July 12:

LAKE BROWNWOOD

GOOD. Water slightly stained; 84-87 degrees; 5.30 feet below pool. Black bass to 6.67-pounds are fair on jigs and topwater lures, but slow on crankbaits and soft plastic worms in 3-20 feet of water. Crappie are fair in brush piles on jigs in 8-15 feet of water and on minnows around the docks. White bass are poor to 1.00-pound in the lights on crankbaits, jigs and minnows. Catfish are slow to 5-pounds on jug lines.

LAKE CISCO

GOOD. Water normal stain; 80 degrees; 8.89 feet below pool. The perch and bass have been active. Crappie are good in 20 feet of water with catches of carp mixed in. Report by Lake Cisco Rentals.

LAKE COLEMAN

SLOW. Slightly stained; 86-89 degrees; 6.33 feet below pool. Summer fishing patterns are similar. Black bass are slow on worms and crankbaits. Crappie are slow in brush piles on jigs in 8-14 feet of water, and on minnows around the docks. White bass are slow in the lights at night using crankbaits, jigs and minnows. Catfish are good on cut gizzard shad off docks.

LAKE O.H. IVIE

GOOD. Water stained; 85-89 degrees; 25.51 feet below pool. White bass are good on live bait and plastics. Crappie are good live bait or jigs. Largemouth bass fair. Catfish are fair. Report by Concho Park and Marina.

LAKE PROCTOR

SLOW. Water stained; 86-89 degrees; 9.95 feet below pool. Sand bass are good in numbers near the island. Report by Michael Acosta, Unfair Advantage Charters.
