As of 1:30 p.m. Thursday, the Coleman County Sheriffs Office, Coleman Police Department, and Santa Anna Police Department were actively looking for wanted subject George Edward Ferguson, Jr.

According to a post on the Coleman County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, Ferguson led Coleman police in a pursuit during a traffic stop and was last seen with no shirt, and one handcuff around his left hand. The subject was on foot in the fields south of Santa Anna Ave. possibly headed into town.

Ferguson does have an active warrant for unlawful possession of firearm.
