Shirley Louise Page was resident of Fort Worth, Texas and born in Brownwood Texas, passed away on June 24, 2023 at the age of 78. Shirley was born on November 6, 1944.

Shirley became a Christian at 8 years old when she accepted Christ in her life. She was raised in a Christian home and served in her church in Fort Worth where she raised her sons. She was intent with leading her home in a Christ centered way. Shirley was involved in the church choir, volunteered in Vacation Bible School and even led the youth choir.

Shirley was a very studious person who was second in her graduating class at Brownwood HS and later completed her undergraduate studies at Texas Christian University graduating Suma Cum Laude.

Following her graduation and a few middle jobs, she worked as a dietitian at Broadway Plaza retirement community (where she lived the last 7 months of her life) then ultimately found her calling at Joshua High School as a Home Economics teacher for over 20 years. She positively impacted many kids and they left an imprint on her as she carried many memories with her throughout her life. She received Teacher of the Year award for the school year 2016-2017.

She also loved her flowers, Christmas cactus, orchids and snake plants to which many of her loved ones will cherish! Shirley was a skilled artist with oil painting and musician who played many instruments (piano, organ, ukulele).

Shirley was preceded in death by her mother and father (Joyce Leach and T. Richard Leach) and her son (Charles Page). Surviving is her son and daughter in-law (Brian and Sarah Page), her granddaughter (Kaylee Matus and husband Zachary Matus), grandson (Tyler Page), sister (Carol Dismukes and husband Scott Dismukes) and brother (Scott Leach).

Sarah and I (Brian) would like to express the highest level of esteem and honor to all the healthcare professionals and caregivers that supported her during her final journey at Baylor Scott and White Hospital-Fort Worth, FW Medical City (Brain and Spinal Center), Watermark at Broadway Plaza and Vitas Hospice. The level of care and love for her was simply amazing and we are forever grateful to each of you!
