HTeaO Early announced the following on its Facebook page Friday:

The news is out! We are SO excited to announce that we are 14 days from firing up the brewers for our Grand Opening. Early: Mark your calendars for Friday, July 7th to come enjoy 25 flavors of iced tea! #HTeaO #GrandOpening

In a previous story on BrownwoodNews.com, ground broke at the site Feb. 11, 2022.

At the time,Larry McConn, City of Early Director of Economic Development, said, “We began working with this group of developers in September of 2020 to bring this quick service restaurant brand to our market. What we do is when we identify corporate brands that are a fit for our market, we begin looking for franchises that are willing to invest in the community.”

Tony Aaron, City of Early Administrator, added, “We started seeing H Tea O popping up at trade shows a couple of years ago. They were very energetic; you could tell they wanted their company to grow. They had these poker chips and every time I saw one in their booth I went and talked to them and grabbed a poker chip, and I said we want you guys in Early, and they chose Early. These guys have opportunities in markets all over the state and for them to take their time, their money and invest in this community, it means a lot to us.”
