Melody Wilson

Melody Wilson, age 46, of Coleman, died Thursday, June 15, 2023.

The family will host a visitation at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2023, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman. Interment will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home.

She was born Melody Rose Wilson on March 3, 1977, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Charles Howard Wilson and Robbie Jean Doss. Melody grew up in Corpus Christi and later relocated to Coleman, Texas. She enjoyed artwork and making crafts. Her favorite and most cherished role was being a mother and grandmother. Melody will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her son, Cameron Wilson and significant other Katrina Salas of Coleman; two grandchildren, Jaxton Wilson and Anabelle Salas; her mother, Robbie Hughes and husband Clint of Coleman; her father, Charles Howard Wilson of Corpus Christi; her siblings, Cody Shane Wilson of Coleman, Georgette Miller of Burnet, Desiree Miller-Christopherson and husband Josh of Coleman, Tashina Hughes of Coleman, Justin Hughes and wife Ambia of Houston, Robert Miller of Lubbock, and Josh Hughes and wife Earyn of Houston; and her best friend and father of Cameron, Richard Watson of Coleman.

The family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions in memory of Melody be made to the Hords Creek Cowboy Church, 3851 State Highway 153, Coleman, Texas 76834.
