The real estate market in Brown County was very strong in the month of May, according to figures released by the Heartland Association of Realtors.  The number of closed sales, the median sales price, and the median price per square foot all had double-digit increases compared to May 2022.  Highlights of the sales statistics are below.

Median Price: $239,900 (up 29.7%)

Median Price per Square Foot: $141.20 (up 23.1%)

Days on Market: 61 (up 40 days)

Days to Close: 30 (down 9 days)

Total Days on Market: 91 (up 31 days)

Median Home Size Sold: 1,637 square feet

Median Year Built: 1983

Closing Price/Original List Price: 93.0%

Number of Active Listings: 140 (up 97.2%)

Months of Inventory: 3.6 (up 1.8 months)
