Geraldine Tucker

Geraldine Tucker, age 78, of Santa Anna, died Sunday, May 28, 2023, at her residence.

The family will host a visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2023, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 W. Pecan, in Coleman. Family and friends are invited to a graveside funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023, at the Santa Anna Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Roger Matthews officiating. Interment will follow in the Santa Anna Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.

She was born Geraldine McAfee on September 7, 1944, in Andrews to Robert Doyle “Mac” McAfee and Lillie Bonnie VanZandt McAfee. She grew up in Odessa where she graduated high school. Geraldine married Tony Gene “Double T” Tucker on June 24, 1966, in Odessa. Geraldine and Tony moved to Santa Anna in 1991 from Big Spring. She was a very independent woman who loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed word search puzzles and going to yard sales. Geraldine was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed.

Preceding Geraldine in death are her parents; her husband, Tony Tucker; one sister, Liddie Faye Price; and one grandchild, Jodie Reanea Grissam.

She is survived by one daughter, Lilliam Grissam and husband Rick of Loraine; one son, Archie Tucker and wife Amy of Abilene; eight grandchildren, Jimmy Grissam and wife Willow, Traci Stapp and husband Kyle, Stephanie Moody and husband Andrew, Colby Tucker, Morgan Marcho and husband Dante Gomez, Cole Fulcher and wife Stokley, Caden Fulcher, and McKenzie Kay Tucker; six great-grandchildren; and two brothers, James McAfee of Basehor, Kansas, and Delmer McAfee of Odessa.
