“Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14

On May 18, 2023, Niyah Dai Cox of Brownwood, Texas made an early arrival to her parents, Noah David Cox and Zoriya Dai Hernandez. On that same day, our Lord called her home. Her life mattered. While her loss is hard, knowing that she is healed and in the presence of our Savior is what sustains those who love her.

Niyah is survived by her parents, Noah and Zoriya; and her brother, Liam Sotello. Also left to mourn her loss are her grandparents Elizabeth Cox, Arcadio Hernandez Sr., and Angela Marie Hernandez. Great-grandparents Guillermo and Maria Hernandez, and Sylvia Mares. Several aunts and uncles including, Becky Bray, Bobby Cox, Audra Schultz, Arcadio Hernandez Jr., and Ivan Antonio Hernandez.

Waiting for her in Heaven was her grandfather, David Cox and her great-grandfather, Jose Mares.

There will be no services for Niyah. Please hold her family close in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate the unthinkable.

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” Matthew 5:4

We love you so much, Niyah! Our lives are forever blessed by the time we had with you. You will be missed, cherished, and loved.

Condolences, memories, and tributes can be offered to the Cox family online at heartlandfuneralhome.com
