Funeral arrangements for Charolette Wagner have been entrusted to Heartland Funeral and Cremations of Comanche. A graveside service to remember and honor her life will be held 10 a.m. Saturday May 27, 2023, at Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche. Her family will gather with friends for a visitation 6-8 p.m. Friday May 26th at the funeral home, 1508 N Austin St, Comanche TX 76442. Condolence and memories can be left online at www.heartlandfunerahome.net.

Velma Charlotte Waddle Wagner, was born July 29, 1947, in Comanche, TX, to Archie Wilbert Waddle and Velma Parolee Keating. She was known as Charolette to most everyone.

Our sweet Mama completed her beautiful journey on this earth May 20th, 2023 @805 p.m. in Brownwood, TX. She passed with Lori by her side, holding her hand. A very special thanks goes out to her claimed daughter Cathy Moya, who spent the last 4 months tirelessly taking care of her and stepping in for us during times we were unable to be there. She loved her as her own Mother, and her and her spouse, Richard Lisman, stayed with us by her side in her final days.

She is survived by her daughter Lori Pettit and partner Donnie Barron of Early, TX; son-in-law, Troy Amos of Comanche TX.; son, James Mathis and partner Jess Bain of Killeen, TX; stepdaughter, Renee Wagner Gonzales and husband Justin Gonzales of Sinton, TX; stepson, Chad Wagner of Llano, TX; two brothers, Thomas Waddle and James Waddle of Comanche, TX; one sister, Tawnya Waddle of Ft. Worth, TX; and she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Emmett Murl “Butch” Wagner; parents, Archie Waddle and Velma Keating Wahl; brother, Hollis Waddle; half-sister, Francis Fanning; beloved daughter, Donna Kay Weems and her beautiful great granddaughter, Violet Gandy.

She was very proud to be called Nanny by 11 grandkids and 18 great grandchildren.
