The 14U Bombers Sheffield won the Cinco de Mayo Spring Challenge in Waco over the weekend.

They defeated a Buzz team in the championship game 8-2. On Sunday they outscored their opponents 20-2 and played lights out. Gabrielle Volz led the team with a .625 batting average. Jensen Harrower hit .545 for the weekend, Brenda Allen hit .500 and Andie Simpson hit .445 and Amarrea Thomas hit .444 this weekend. Corinne Sheffield pitched 15 innings and had 15 strikeouts.

Brenda Allen and Gabrielle Volz received pool player MVP awards.
