GRAHAM – The Brownwood Lady Lions surrendered 13 runs in the bottom of the first inning as the Texas Girls Coaches Association Class 4A No. 10 Graham Lady Blues completed a District 6-4A softball sweep with a 15-0 victory Thursday night.

The Lady Lions (9-11-1, 3-3) gave up two more runs to Graham (19-4-2, 4-0) in the third inning to end the game early.

Brownwood committed six errors and Tynlea Wilson yielded 11 hits, three walks and six earned runs in 2.1 innings.

Offensively, the Lady Lions finished with three hits – singles by Jeniffer Romero, Jakayla Peek and Wilson.

The Lady Lions will attempt to bounce back at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Stephenville as they embark on their final two District 6-4A contests of the season.
