Dr. Jim Fowler closing local ENT practice

The office of Dr. Jim Fowler issued the following information Monday:

We would like to announce that Dr. Jim Fowler, Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist in Brownwood, Abilene, and Stephenville, Texas, is closing his ENT practices in these towns.

The Fowlers will be moving to the Rio Grande Valley where Dr. James Fowler will be joining Valley Ear, Nose & Throat in McAllen, Texas.

Dr. Fowler’s last day in the office will be May 1, 2023.

Patient records will be at the 2510 Crockett, Suite A, location in Brownwood, Texas. 325-646-9956

A letter of notification has been sent to patients with a release of records enclosed.

ENT’s in the area are:

  • Jason Acevedo, ENT in Abilene: 1665 Antilley Rd, Suite 180, Abilene, TX, 79606 – 325-793-5165
  • Salim Bhaloo, ENT in Granbury: 4425 E. US Hwy 377, Suite 101, Granbury, TX, 76049 – 682-936-4081

You may call their offices to become a patient, or call the physician of your choice, complete a release of records, and Dr. Fowler’s office will forward the requested records.

Drs. James and Lisa Fowler moved to Brownwood in 1998, where he opened his ENT practice. Dr. Fowler would like to express his appreciation for his patients throughout the years and their loyalty to his practice. For the last 25 years, the Fowler’s have been an integral part of the Brownwood community and they will miss the many friends and patients they have had during this time.
