EARLY – According to information released by the City of Early Police Department through their Facebook page, a two vehicle wreck happened in the 400 block of Early Boulevard.

At approximately 2:40 pm Saturday, April 1, the Early Police, Fire and Lifeguard EMS responded to the 400 block of Early Boulevard for a two vehicle accident with serious injuries.

A 65 year-old male, driver of a 2005 Suburban, was transported to Hendrick Medical Center in Brownwood with critical injuries.  He later died from his injuries.

A 20 year-old female, driver of a 2022 Nissan SUV, was also transported to Hendrick Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The 89 year-old passenger of the Suburban was flown by Air Evac to Hendrick Medical Center North in Abilene with severe injuries.

Cause of the accident is still under investigation.

DPS, Brown County Sheriff’s Office and Brownwood Fire Department also responded to assist.
