George Nolen Norwood, age 76, passed away on March 25, 2023.

George was born in Brownwood, TX to George Norwood Sr. and Zilapha Cook- Norwood on August 29th, 1946. He loved to play pool and cards with his family.

George is survived by Diane Miller (sister) of Minnesota, Regan Green (brother-in-law) of Blanket Texas and numerous nieces, nephews, Great nieces, and nephews.

George was preceded in death by his parents; George and Zilapha Norwood, Sisters; Elizabeth Miller, Betsy Green, Christine Norwood, Great Niece; Nadalee Smith, Great Nephew; Damon Patterson.

Public Viewing will be held Wednesday, 29th of March 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home – Davis Morris Chapel.

Services for George Norwood will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home – Davis Morris Chapel with Chad Gosnell officiating. A burial will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery at 02:00 PM in Brownwood, Texas.
