Brown County Sheriff’s Report – March 27

  • On Thursday, March 23 at about 9:06 p.m., Deputy Chris Williamson was dispatched to a burglary call located at CR 183, Bangs. A victim stated multiple musical instruments were stolen from her residence. Information was collected, and a report made.
  • On Friday, March 24, Deputy Francisco Valencia was dispatched to an address on CR 564. This was in regards to criminal mischief. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
  • On Saturday, March 25 Deputy John Geis was dispatched to handle a call involving someone driving through someone’s fence on County Road 488. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
  • On Saturday, March 25 at approximately 5:45 p.m. Sgt. Andre Smoot contacted a walk-in complainant at the Brown County Law Enforcement Center. This was regarding a stolen license plate. Information was obtained, and incident believed to have occurred in another county. Pertinent information was gathered, and a report was completed. The license plate was entered into NCIC, TCIC with dispatch.
  • On Sunday, March 26, Deputy John Geis was dispatched to handle a criminal mischief call, which occurred on the 25th of March at the El Coahuila. A victim had her vehicle vandalized. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
