Deborah Deon Smith Lewis

Deborah Deon Smith Lewis, 68, of Coleman died Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Holiday Hill Nursing Home.  The family will host a visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 West Pecan Street in Coleman.  Friends and family are invited to a graveside service 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 24, 2023 at the Santa Anna Cemetery Pavilion on 206 Fannin Street in Santa Anna.  Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

She was born Deborah Deon Smith on March 22, 1954 in Buras, Louisiana to Delbert Dee and Madelyn Maxine Moss Smith.  She grew up and attended school in Longview and Kilgore, in east Texas.  Deborah worked as an In-bound Customer Service Representative for Verizon with Sitel Communications.

In her spare time, Deborah loved painting, going fishing and deer hunting.

Deborah is preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Davis.  She is survived by her two sons, Thomas Ryan Snelson and wife, Heather, Christopher Lee Snelson and wife, Kerri Evans; her parents, Delbert and Madelyn Smith; one brother, Carlton Smith and two sisters, Carol Reagan and Brenda Crump.  Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Gage Snelson, Brannon Snelson, Austin Snelson, Cole Snelson, Page Auxt, Piper Auxt, Christopher Snelson and wife, Hayley, Jaida Gay and husband, Dylan, Jaxon Snelson; five great grandchildren, Case Snelson, Emerson Snelson, Paisley Gay, Lillia Gay, Kimber Gay; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
