Willetta Thompson Anderson

Willetta Thompson Anderson, age 74 of Santa Anna, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023. Family will receive friends for visitation from 5 to 7PM on Friday, March 24 at Heartland Funeral Home. Funeral services from Willetta will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 25 at Heartland Funeral Home in Early. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park.

Willetta was born on February 3, 1949 in Brownwood to William “Bill” Thompson and Jane Brymner. After graduating from high school, Willetta went to Nursing School where she became an LVN and later went back and became an RN. She served the Brown and Coleman communities as a nurse until her retirement. Willetta attended the First Baptist Church in Santa Anna for the majority of her life. She married Norman Anderson on June 20, 1992 in Florence, Texas. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, arts and crafts, and was always ready for annual pumpkin carving.

Willetta is survived by her husband, Norman Anderson; children, Amy Hosea and husband Steve, Clay Piper, Susan Piper and fiancée Bryan Powell, Casey Tiffany and husband Robert, Joey Anderson and wife Crystal, and Scotty Anderson and wife Kerry; siblings, Sherry Chapman, Kelly Franke, and Ricky Stokes. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill Thompson and Jane Brymner; and brothers, Mike Thompson and Donnie Thompson
