Brownwood Bass Club’s 50th Annual Open Tournament set for April 2

The Brownwood Bass Club’s 50th Annual Open Tournament will take place Sunday, April 2 at Lake Brownwood. Hours will be 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the weigh-in line begins at 2 p.m. at the spillway. Contestants must check in between noon and 7 p.m. Saturday, April 1 or between 5 and 6 a.m. Sunday, April 2, also at the spillway.

Divisions include open, with a $50 registration fee; women, with a $25 sign-up fee; and juniors, with a $20 fee to partake.

First place in in the Open division is guaranteed $2,000 and cash will be paid to the top 50 places, including $500 for 50th place. There will also be $500 awarded for 5 pound stringers in any division, and $100 for the smallest stringer in the Open division.

Both the women’s and junior divisions will feature 100% payout plus $250 added cash.
