BANGS – The Bangs Lady Dragons remained atop the District 6-2A softball standings with a 7-0 victory over Coleman Tuesday – their fifth shutout in as many league contests.

Abby Wolf tossed a no-hitter and struck out 11 batters for Bangs (14-4, 5-0), which tallied two runs in the bottom of the first inning and five more in the third.

Bangs’ 12-hit attack was led by three from Wolf, two and three RBIs by Sierra Lorah, two and a pair of RBIs from Bailey Mendieta, two and one RBI by Cheyenne Rush, and one hit apiece from Neeley Bradley and Julianna Ethridge.

The Lady Dragons – who have outscored their five district foes 70-0 – will host Christoval at 5 p.m. Friday
