Bobby Rosalio Cantu, age 66, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023.
Family will host a visitation on Sunday, March 19th at 6 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm at Heartland Funeral Home.
A mass will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023 at St. Mary Queen of Peace in Brownwood.
Bobby was born April 6, 1956 to Baleriano and Rosa Cantu in San Saba, Texas. He attended Angelo State University where he earned a Bachelors degree in Education and went on to Tarleton State University, earning a Masters degree in Family Counseling. Bobby worked as an Educator and then a Counselor locally. He was known as “Mr. Football” and loved the San Saba Armadillos. Bobby was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the League of United Latin American Citizens. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed sports, auto restoration, hunting, fishing and barbeques.
Bobby is survived by his three children, Sandro, Nicolas and Melissa; grandchildren, Jake and Estella; siblings, Ireno, Valeriano, Susie, Steve, Eddie, Rosemary and Elton.
Bobby was preceded in death by both of his parents; his siblings, Larry, Rita, Olidio and Lalena.
