In accordance with Texas Local Government Code §211.007, and Section 98-84 of the City’s Code of Ordinances, a public hearing will be held by the City of Brownwood Planning and Zoning Commission on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 501 Center Avenue, Brownwood, Texas, for the purpose of receiving comments on the following requests:

To review and consider request to change the zoning of Abstract 576, Survey 278, Blocks 18, 19, Kerr County School Land, 15.08 acres in the City of Brownwood, Brown County, Texas from R-1 Single Family Residential District to R-2 Two Family Residential District. Said undeveloped subdivision is located between the boundary of roads, Mustang Drive – Sam Houston Drive and Horseshoe Trail – Longhorn Lane.

It is requested that you make your views known, either in person, by writing, or by a duly authorized representative to aid the Planning and Zoning Commission in determining the proper action on this request.

Following the public hearing the Commission may recommend the proposed request to the City Council.
