The Brownwood Lions and Lady Lions competed at the Copperas Cove tennis tournament Friday and captured two championships, three consolation titles and finished third in another event.

Highlighting Brownwood’s effort were:

• 1st place boys doubles: River Prado and Jacob Singleton
• 1st place boys singles: Peter Le
• 3rd place mixed doubles: Eric Smith and Ihana Figueroa
• Consolation champions boys doubles: Taevion Nickerson and Tyler Mitchell
• Consolation champions girls doubles: Madeleine Goff and Ashlyn Bundick
• Consolation champions mixed doubles: Eric Waldrop and Claire Meinecke
