Steve Aguirre, age 66, from Brownwood went to Heaven to be with our Lord and Savior, Saturday March 4, 2023, surrounded by his loving family after a very lengthy illness.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday March 8th at 1:00pm, officiated by Pastor Abel Pena at Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be held at a later date.

Steve was born February 27, 1957, in Santa Anna Texas to Santos Sr. and Aurora (Cordero) Aguirre. He married Maria Martinez in 1979 At Grand Prairie, TX. They were blessed with two children, Angela and Steve Jr. They moved to Modesto, California to pursue his career, as a welder. Due to an accident while welding, Steve was disabled for many years.

Steve will be missed by all his family, especially his grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. Steve had a great sense of humor and a beautiful smile. He loved to keep them entertained and was very involved in what they did. He left a large collection of model cars for them.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his son Steve & Mariah Martinez. His grandchildren, Xavier & Liliana Martinez, grandson, Logan Yonne and granddaughter, Mya and husband Marco Hernandez, Great Grandchildren, Marco 111 and Genisis Marie Hernandez. He will also be missed by his brother, Samuel Aguirre and sisters, Anna Belle Valdez (Joe), Argentina Alvarado (Joe), Aurora Pena, Ada Perez (Johnny), Amelia Costilla (David), along with many nephews and nieces and a special family friend Natalie Sliger.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Maria, daughter Angela Yonnie, Son in law Wesley Yonnie, brother Santos Aguirre Jr., sisters, Angelina Lopez, Agnes Irvin and Amelia Saenz.
