LUBBOCK – The Brownwood Lady Lions golf team finished sixth out of 16 teams at the two-day, 36-hole Region I-4A preview golf tournament that concluded Saturday at Shadow Hills Golf Course.

The Lions posted a 711 team score with rounds of 359 Friday and 352 Saturday.

Leading the charge for Brownwood were River Jones (87-81=168), Haylie Martindale (85-88=173), Tristyn Garcia (91-89=180), London England (96-94=190), and Riley Morton (108-118-226.

The next action for the Lady Lions is Monday at the Graham Invitational.
