William C. ‘Bill’ Mueller

William C. “Bill” Mueller, age 94, of San Antonio, Texas passed to the arms of Jesus on Sunday, February 19, 2023 3:33 pm at Imagine Wellness Assisted Living.

Services will be Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11:00 am at Rockwood Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Jeff Dean officiating.  The family will receive friends from 7:00 till 9:00 pm on Friday at Henderson Funeral Home.  Services are under the direction of and care of Henderson Funeral Home Staff.

He was born William Charles Mueller on October 12, 1928 in San Antonio, Texas to William F. and Mary Jonitez Mueller.  Bill was raised in San Antonio where he attended the Tech High School and continued his education of St Mary’s University and UT Austin graduating with an Electrical Engineering Degree.    He served his country in the United States Navy.  On August 18, 1950 Bill married the love of his life Alice Joyce Wise in San Antonio, Texas and they celebrated 59 years of marriage.  Joyce preceded him in death in 2009.

Bill was a resident of San Antonio and Rockwood where he came to   refresh in the open spaces that he loved and gave to his community in many ways including serving as a member of the Rockwood Cemetery Board. He was a Christian by faith expressing his love of God and the wonderment around him.  In his younger years he was employed at Bailey Meter Company then moving to the U S Air Force, Kelly Air Force Base in electrical engineering managing a lab, he retired in 1988.

Survivors include Son – William S ‘Stony’ & wife Marcy Mueller of San Antonio, Texas; Daughter – Pam & husband Randy Clyde of Flower Mound, Texas; Son – Lance K & wife Dee of La Vernia, Texas; Brother – Walter & wife Janie of Weatherford, Texas; 7 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces & Nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and 2 Sisters.
