According to the Andrews County News, an intoxication investigation is underway and intoxication manslaughter charges are pending for a Brownwood man involved in fatality accident in Ector County over the weekend.

Juan Rodrigues, 23, of Andrews, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and Auden Saenz, 20, also of Andrews, was listed in stable condition at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.

The crash involved a 2001 Chevy Silverado driven by Rodrigues and a 2012 Chevy 2500 pickup driven by 37-year-old Aaron Guerrero of Brownwood.

The accident occurred when Guerrero was traveling south in the northbound lanes of Highway 385 about five miles north of Odessa. Rodrigues was traveling north and the Silverado was struck by the Chevy 2500 pickup. Saenz was a passenger in the Silverado. Guerrero sustained injuries and was listed in stable condition at Medical Center Hospital.
