Extension Education Hobby and Craft Fair set for March 9

The 2023 Extension Education Hobby and Craft Fair is coming up in Brownwood on Thursday, March 9, in the Adams Street Community Center.

Entries are open to the public.

You can choose from many different categories in which to enter, as shown below.

  • Afghans, Bedspreads and Blankets and Throws.
  • Ceramics, China, Porcelain and Pottery
  • Craft Painting
  • Decorated Garments
  • Fiber Arts and Fabric creations
  • Garments and Accessories Hand Made
  • Hand Stitchery
  • Machine Embroidery
  • Holiday Decorations
  • Painting and Drawing
  • Jewelry
  • Paper, Traditional Scrapbooks, Digitally Produced Scrapbooks
  • Photography – paper Black & White, paper color, photography any other medium
  • Quilts (various sizes, hand and machine)
  • Recycled items
  • Wall Hanging
  • Miscellaneous

You can pick up entry forms at the Brown County Extension Office at 605 Fisk Avenue.

The schedule for the day March 9 is as follows:

9 to 10 a.m. – Registration and entries

10 a.m. to Noon – Judging and Extension Program

Noon to 1 p.m. – Free lunch, entertainment and Drawings

1 p.m. – Pick Up Entries
