Frank Midkiff

Frank Midkiff, age 85, passed away on February 13, 2023, at his home in Brown County. A visitation for Frank will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Friday, February 17 at Heartland Funeral Home. Graveside services for Frank will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 18 at Cedar Point Cemetery in Brownwood.

Frank was born on January 21, 1938, in Midland to parents Frank F. and Louise Wolcott Midkiff.

Frank loved the ranch and ranching; in his early years he worked in the oil field. He loved to travel and play slot machines. His ‘BARN” was his pride and joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Foy Midkiff and wife Lynda; and a granddaughter Emily Nicole.

Frank is survived by wife, Sherrie Nunn Midkiff of Brownwood; children,

Gary and wife Kathy Midkiff, Kim and husband John McLean, Tammy and husband Brian Humphreys, Kelly and husband Billy Willams; step children, Allison husband Riordan Hartzoge, Audra Verastegui, Aaron and wife Jessica Custer; 17 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and his brother, Charles and wife Mary Midkiff.
