Three 2024 INTERNATIONAL, 77 passenger, diesel-powered school buses were delivered directly to Brookesmith ISD Friday from Decatur, Texas. The buses were manufactured in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Brookesmith applied for the Texas Clean School Bus grant program of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and was selected last year. It took approximately seven months  to construct the vehicles. The buses are equipped with heaters, air conditioning, internal cameras and individual seat belts.
