Thelma Irene Kerbow

 Thelma Irene Kerbow, age 97, of Coleman, Texas passed to the arms of her Jesus on Monday, February 6, 2023 at the Hendricks Medical Center Brownwood.

Services will be Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion with Michael Wright officiating under the direction and care of Henderson Funeral Home staff.

She was born Thelma Irene Miles on May 28, 1925 in Lamesa, Texas to her loving parents Howard P. and Willie Blanche Allsup Miles.  Thelma was raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico where she attended schools and was a member of the Church of Christ.  In 1946 Thelma married H. D. Kerbow in Brownwood and they celebrated 54 years of marriage.  H. D. preceded her in death in 2000.

Thelma has been a resident of Coleman since 1971 moving here from Las Cruces.  She led an active life working in her yard, singing, and enjoyed visiting with her family and friends.  She was a homemaker caring for her home and family.

Survivors include 3 Daughters: Carol & husband Fred Hollis of Socorro, New Mexico, Annette & husband Wayne Conley of Brownwood, Texas, and Debra & husband David Hyden of Mason, Texa; 2 Sons, Gary Kerbow of Coleman, Texas, and Mike & wife Suzy Kerbow of Santa Anna, Texas; Several Nieces & Nephews; and Numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Thelma was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Woodruff.
